What we did
Through a workshop, ICLEI addressed the need to better understand the urban environment of San José regarding flooding. Several agencies from different cities, as well as various key stakeholders such as organizations and public and private institutions, met. This was considered a positive impact, as the recognition of a broader context allowed for more detailed advice for the city, considering different indicators and criteria.

What we achieved
ICLEI convened various stakeholders to delve deeper into the issue of flooding in the city and, in doing so, learn about the laws that address this issue, as well as identify the main challenges in urban planning and nature-based solutions, as well as regulatory adjustments that can be made to improve current strategies.
