ICLEI leads on the Replication, Transferability and Comms Packages. The project aims to support the development of solar energy projects on a community level, replicating the NY programme. ICLEI will develop training and capacity modules. ICLEI will draft a report on EU Policy Recommendations & National Roadmaps to alleviate energy poverty. Under the leadership of ICLEI at least 4 capacity modules will be developed focusing on presenting a multilevel perspective on energy poverty, climate action and stainable energy, with focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency measures adoption towards energy poverty alleviation. ICLEI is responsible for the train the trainers programme. ICLEI will also share the outcomes of the project as European best practice. ICLEI also organises and runs webinars and events within the project. ICLEI will contribute to the preparation of the Energy Poverty Guidebook for Energy Planning and engagement of cities from its network.
