What we are achieving

ICLEI leads on the work of capacity building and multilevel knowledge creation. ICLEI leads the work for policy making and also the support the linkage of energy poverty in SECAPs processes- knowledge creation. ICLEI will develop training and capacity modules. ICLEI will draft a report on EU Policy Recommendations & National Roadmaps to alleviate energy poverty. Under the leadership of ICLEI at least 4 capacity modules will be developed focusing on presenting a multilevel perspective on energy poverty, climate action and stainable energy, with focus on renewable energy and energy efficiency measures adoption towards energy poverty alleviation. ICLEI is responsible for the train the trainers programme. ICLEI will also share the outcomes of the project as European best practice. ICLEI also organises and runs webinars and events within the project.ICLEI will contribute to the preparation of the Energy Poverty Guidebook for Energy Planning and engagement of cities from its network.
