What we are doing
While CitiesWithNature & RegionsWithNature is one of the main biodiversity initiatives of ICLEI, Korean member cities and LGs are not well aware of the initiative. KO, as an advocacy program, is generating a Korean version of the CitiesWithNature Action Platform guideline, incorporating the 5th NBSAP of Korea and the local policy frameworks. With the guideline and subsequent programs, KO expects Korean LGs to join CitiesWithNature actively and recognised by the global ICLEI network and beyond for their biodiversity action and valuing the nature integrated into the city development.
