San Antonio, TX contracted ICLEI USA to complete a 2021 community-wide greenhouse gas inventory and narrative report. This inventory continues San Antonio’s consistent efforts to track its community-wide emissions, dating back to its baseline year of 2016.

Read more Read lessICLEI USA conducted a 2021 community-wide greenhouse gas inventory following the Global Protocol for Community-Scale Greenhouse Gas Emission Inventories (GPC). Upon completion of the inventory, a business-as-usual forecast and science-based target were calculated for 2030. Finally, a report was written as well as a slide deck that was presented to City officials. The report included a table and discussion comparing the 2021 inventory to the City’s previous 2019 inventory.
