What we are doing
This initiative seeks is to recognize local governments that have developed projects, programs and actions on the topic of sustainable development. ICLEI MECS understands that it is essential to work for sustainability from local governments but we also understand that it was necessary to create a space for recognition and exposure by an international organization, in this way ICLEI MECS created the ICLEI award to mitigate this situation
