What we are doing

Thanks to ICLEI KO's activities to encourage Korean local governments to publish VLRs, two ICLEI Korea members-Suwon city and Shinan county-have worked on VLRs between 2022 and 2023. In spite of their beautiful publications with fruitful content and pictures, their activities for promotion were quite limited because of lack of workforce in the international cooperation sector.

What we are achieving

Looking for the appropriate international organizations which deal with VLRs-UN Habitat, IGES and Local 2030-and asking them to publish VLRs of Suwon city and Shinan county on their official homepages so that other relevant organizations could refer to them when it comes to planning sustainable policies and strategies.
