What we are doing

KO has issued bi-monthly online newsletter to enhance people’s understanding in SD, share KO’s recent activities and spread local governments’ best practices. KO newsletter consists of various contents, including news on ICLEI activities and local members, interviews with officials, contribution articles from experts, introduction of upcoming events, case studies and publications. In addition to 6 regular volumes, 2 special editions for ICLEI WC 2024 and UNFCCC COP29 were issued.

How we are tracking

The number of recipients are approximately 6,000, including local government officials, experts and activists in SD. The newsletter open rate has increased 7 percent compared to last year and hit 19 percent in 2024.
