The program works beyond the installation of automatic level rain monitor, but also river level monitor. The society is taught on how to read the tools and teach it to their surroundings. They are also being taught on how the response when the flood occurs, including how to evacuate their belongings.
The program aims to address drought issue as well as reducing the water run-off from the upstream to downstream. The main initial working area includes reviewing and develop planing for rain water harvesting permanent facility and building 10 pilot facilities in the city. Currently the project has been replicated into the installment of such system at 62 households.
