The program subsidizes residents who have installed residential photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems, home energy management systems (HEMS), fuel cells, storage batteries, and battery chargers and power supply systems for electric vehicles. Both houses and apartments are eligible for subsidies. The aim of the program is to achieve further reductions of GHG emissions by encouraging a shift to energy-efficient lifestyles in the residential sector.
