ICLEI is responsible for the international dimension of the CoMO and is involved in the goverance of the CoMO, supporting multi-level governance/dialogues. ICLEI is involved in the energy poverty pillar which includes work on a monitoring&reporting framework on energy povery. As part of the capacity building task, ICLEI works on the peer-learning programme, specifically the city twinnings as well as SECAP reviews. Organising webinars and capactiy building events on different topics (as well as a publication on adaption) is also part of ICLEI's tasks as well as the coordination between the CoMO and the European Commission's Coal Regions in Transition Initiative. ICLEI leads the CoM Coaltion on Buildings and engages in the awareness-raising & communication work. As leader of the CoMO International Dimension, ICLEI mainly focuses on facilitating the dialogue with the GCoM and the otehr Regional CoMs; ICLEI makes also active part in the TWGs as regional representative and organise the activities related to the participation of CoMO to the COP, and other international events.
