Austin Community Climate Plan
The Austin City Council passed a resolution setting the goal of net zero community wide ghg emissions by 2050 in April 2014. Staff worked with over 50 stakeholders over a year to develop the Austin Community Climate Plan. It was delivered to the Austin City Council in April 2015 and Adopted by resolution in June 2015. The plan covers Electricity, natural gas, transportation, industrial process emissions, and waste management in our City. The plan is currently in the implementation phase, reporting progress every year, and will be revised every 5 years. Start year
