Environmental Task Force Staff Report
"The mission of the Environmental Task Force is: “To unite the community in a comprehensive effort to promote sustainable living in the City of Manhattan Beach.” To meet this mission the Environmental Task Force developed several programs to meet the goals identified in the Environmental Work Plan adopted by City Council on January 18, 2011. The Environmental Task Force also developed overall targets and outreach programs in the areas of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, and Water Conservation and Sustainable Landscaping, to meet these goals."
