ECOSTAR is a community awareness initiative that uses a star rating system to show improvements in both water and energy efficiency. ECOSTAR ratings are used in City of Joondalup facilities to promote retrofitting projects and to encourage the community to improve water and energy efficiency in their homes. Start year

City of Joondalup Solar Hot Water Project
The City currently has a solar hot water system installed at Craigie Leisure Centre which provides a portion of the heating required to heat the water used in the pool’s showers. A further 15 solar hot water systems will be installed at seven locations in the City during 2013/14 Start year
